Mogadishu, SONNA – In a significant step reflecting its commitment to academic excellence, the Journalism and Communication Department at Mogadishu University has successfully passed a curriculum evaluation conducted by Comparative Education Services (CES), part of the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in Canada.
This achievement highlights the high quality of education provided by the department and reaffirms the university’s commitment to global education standards. “This recognition from such a prestigious institution is a testament to the quality of education we strive to offer and opens up greater opportunities for our students and faculty,” said Mr. Shafii Ibrahim, the head of the department.
The department also commends the substantial role played by one of its alumni, Aweys Isak, in the evaluation process, demonstrating the value and impact of the alumni network in supporting and developing the department’s academic programs.
