Mogadishu – Somalia’s Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs convened a high-level workshop in Mogadishu to assess and discuss the current state of the country’s social protection system.
The event brought together representatives from government institutions, civil society organizations, international partners, and other key stakeholders. The aim was to exchange critical data and enhance coordination in efforts to improve social welfare programs across Somalia.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to building an inclusive, sustainable social protection framework that effectively responds to the needs of vulnerable populations in line with the National Transformation Plan (NTP 2025–2029).
