Istanbul, (SONNA) – The Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, today held a meeting in Istanbul with Türkiye’s Minister of Industry and Technology, H.E. Mehmet Fatih Kacir.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries in innovation, modern technology development, and youth empowerment.
Minister Abdulkadir praised Türkiye’s role in organizing TEKNOFEST 2025, the world’s largest aerospace, satellite, and technology exhibition, noting that enhanced cooperation will contribute to the development of Somalia’s port infrastructure and the improvement of maritime transport services.
