Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Daud Aweis Jama, today hosted a delegation from the Northeast State of Somalia, led by the region’s Minister of Information, Ahmed Diriye.
The delegation also included the Northeast State Minister of Fisheries, Ismaaciil Sh. Axmed.
Minister Daud Aweis briefed the delegation on the federal government’s media policies and national development priorities, emphasizing the importance of national unity and collaboration between the federal and regional administrations.
He also pledged that his ministry would support and work closely with the Northeast State Ministry of Information, noting the region’s recent establishment and the need to strengthen institutional capacity.
