Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Health and Human Services of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adam, today conducted an official working visit to the National Dialysis Center and the National Blood Bank in Mogadishu, to assess the delivery and performance of critical healthcare services provided to the Somali public.
During the inspection, the Minister toured various departments of the National Dialysis Center, which offers free dialysis services to Somali patients. He commended the dedication, professionalism, and efficiency of the medical and technical staff working at the facility.
Dr. Ali Haji Adam also expressed his appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) for their significant role in supporting and strengthening life-saving health services in Somalia.
The Minister reaffirmed that the Ministry of Health and Social Care remains firmly committed to expanding and enhancing specialized medical services, upgrading medical equipment, and improving the capacity and skills of healthcare workers. He emphasized that these efforts are aimed at ensuring Somali citizens have access to quality, affordable, and sustainable healthcare services nationwide.
