Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mohamed Abdi Hayir (Maareeye), today led a tree-planting activity at the ministry’s headquarters as part of a national campaign aimed at enhancing environmental protection and restoring the country’s green landscape.
Minister Maareeye urged government institutions to play an active role in tree planting efforts, emphasizing the importance of collective action in strengthening environmental conservation initiatives.
