Baidoa, SONNA — The Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport, Abdulqadir Mohamed Nur Jama, has secured the House of the People seat HOP#204 following the withdrawal of his rival candidate in Baidoa.
Abdirisaq Abdullahi, who had been contesting the seat, withdrew from the race, clearing the way for Minister Jama’s unopposed victory.
The outcome was confirmed during the electoral process in Baidoa, the interim capital of South West State.
