Mogadishu (SONNA):The Minister of Defense of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Hussein Haji had a very fruitful meeting with UNSOM SRSG, H.E. James Swan, to discuss the ongoing business between UNSOM and MoD.
The meeting occurred in a very friendly and transparent manner, including H.E. Lisa Filipeto, Head of UNSOS, Ms. Kirsten Young, Chief Human Rights and Protection Group (HRPG), Brig. Gen. Papa Ngom, UNSOM Senior Military Adviser and Ms Adelina Urmanova, Assistant Office of SRSG.
The Minister of Defense was accompanied by MoD’s Director General, Hassan M. Said Samantar and the Director of Administration and Finance, Ali Aden Hassan.
