Mogadishu, SONNA – The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale), warmly received the Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, Ambassador Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Muwallad. The meeting, held in Mogadishu, focused on fortifying the relationship between the two nations and exploring avenues for collaborative development initiatives.
During the discussions, both leaders emphasized the importance of cooperation in various critical sectors, including job creation, healthcare, education, and the reconstruction of economic infrastructure. These areas are pivotal to the Banadir Regional Government and the local administration of Hamar, reflecting their commitment to fostering sustainable development and improving the quality of life for the residents.
Ambassador Al-Muwallad expressed Saudi Arabia’s readiness to support Somalia’s development goals, highlighting the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to strengthening ties with Somalia. Mayor Jimale, in turn, conveyed his gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s continued support and expressed optimism about the positive impact of these collaborative efforts on the region’s future.
