Riyadh, (SONNA) – The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Yusuf Mohamed Adan, held a high-level meeting today with the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abuthnain, during his official visit to Riyadh.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in social development and employment opportunities. Both sides agreed to expedite the implementation of a recent understanding between Somalia and Saudi Arabia aimed at facilitating overseas employment for Somali workers.
Minister Yusuf reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to creating a productive labor environment by forging bilateral labour agreements with international partners, highlighting the Ministry’s strategic focus on job creation and workforce development through global partnerships.
