Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh launched the Government and Civil Society Organisations Forum under the theme “Engagement and Partnership.”
“Civil society is the backbone of our state-building efforts. Strengthening the partnership between the government and the CSOs is not a choice, it is a necessity for lasting peace, effective governance, and sustainable development,” Minister Ali Hosh said.
The Director General of the Ministry Aidarus M. Hassan reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering self-reliance. His remarks underscored Somalia’s dedication to reducing dependence on foreign aid and pursuing sustainable, homegrown solutions.
This marks a significant step toward inclusive governance and collaborative nation-building as the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation officially launches the forum in Mogadishu today.
