Hobyo(SONNA):Galmudug deployed troops today on Saturday to southern Mudug region to liberate the area from Al Shabaab, SONNA reported.
Galmudug Darawish forces arrived in Wisil village under Hobyo district today.
The leading Army officers told SONNA that Galmudug Darawish forces in collaboration with the Somali National Army will soon begin operations in Galkayo where the Al Shabab militants are hiding.
A delegation of ministers, parliamentarians and military officials from Galmudug are also expected to visit Wisil.
