Kismaayo,[SONNA] – The Somali National Army, in collaboration with international allies, conducted a planned operation in the Lower Jubba region, resulting in the neutralization of four Al-Shabaab militants.
The strategic strike carried out by the United States Air Force, targeted an area approximately 45 km north of Kismayo, the temporary center of the Jubbaland regional government. Fortunately, no civilian casualties were reported in the mission.
The Somali government, supported by its citizens and global partners, remains resolute in its commitment to eradicating militant groups that pose a threat to the stability and prosperity of Somalia.
