Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, today received a copy of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Somalia, H.E. Alejandro Ives Estivill Castro.
The ceremony took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Mogadishu, where Minister Abdisalam warmly welcomed Ambassador Estivill and conveyed his best wishes for a successful mission. He emphasized Somalia’s commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral ties with Mexico.
Minister Abdisalam noted that the renewed diplomatic engagement is expected to pave the way for broad-based cooperation aimed at promoting peace, security, and sustainable development. He also reaffirmed the Ministry’s support for the ambassador in fulfilling his duties and enhancing mutual relations between the two countries.
