Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalan Abdi Ali, today received in his office in Mogadishu the Representative and Country Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Somalia, Mr. Elkhidir Daloum.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in line with Somalia’s national priorities, particularly in responding to humanitarian needs, improving food security, and promoting sustainable development.
Both sides discussed ways to enhance joint efforts to address the needs of vulnerable communities and support resilience-building programmes across the country.
