Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Biixi Imaan Cige, held a key meeting today at the Ministry’s headquarters with senior representatives from the Somali Bankers Association.
The discussions focused on advancing Somalia’s economic development priorities, recognizing the critical role banks have played in supporting the country’s ongoing economic reform agenda, which is being spearheaded by the Ministry of Finance.
Minister Biixi expressed his appreciation to the Somali Bankers Association for their strong partnership with the government, their high-quality services to the public, and their significant contribution as taxpayers to Somalia’s reconstruction efforts.
