1-President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud congratulated Somali teachers on Teacher’s Day on November 21.
2-President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud reiterated once again how the Federal Government of Somalia is committed to the development of the country’s democratic process and to give the Somali people the opportunity to elect their leaders.
3-President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud congratulated the newly elected president of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro) and his deputy, Mr. Mohamed Aw-Ali Abdi.
4-President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, Speaker of the People’s Assembly, and Speaker of the Upper House have sent their condolences to the family, relatives and Somali people on the death of the former President of Somaliland, H.E Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud (Silanyo).

8-Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre said that the President of Jubbaland, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, has signed all the agreements to direct the country to the universal suffrage election, and it is regrettable that he has to withdraw from those agreements that he has already accepted.
9-Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre has congratulated the newly elected President of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi.
10-Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre participated in a large event to commemorate the Somali Teacher’s Day on November 21.
11-The Cabinet has endorsed the appointment of the new Director of the National Statistics Agency, Dr. Abdisalan Abdirahman Mohamed.
12-The Speaker of the Upper House Mr. Abdi Hashi Abdullah participated in the East African Community Heads of Parliament meeting in Nairobi.
13-The Federal Parliament of Somalia has approved two crucial bills, one for the Electoral Commission and the other one for Political Parties and Organizations in the country.
14-The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia Col. Yusuf Hassan Farah (Yusuf Dheeg) passed away in Hargeisa.
15-The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Macallin Fiqi, received the credentials of the new Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Somalia, Mr. Manuel Marques Pereira.
16-The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Macallin Fiqi, has closed a training session on diplomatic and etiquette for the newly Somali appointed ambassadors.
17-The Minister of Finance Mr. Bihi Iman Ige and the Danish Ambassador to Somalia Steen Sonne Andersen signed an agreement in which Denmark has forgiven its debts to Somalia.
18-Minister of State for Transport & Aviation Md. Abdikarim Abdow Heydar had a meeting with a delegation from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
19-The Minister of Public Works, Dr Elmi Mohamud Noor, and the United Nations Organization, UNOPS, have signed an agreement regarding the development of water supply in the city of Baidoa.
20-The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, received the Norwegian Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Einar Rystad.
21-The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ahmed Macallin Fiqi said that the government summoned the Danish Ambassador to Somalia Steen Sonne Andersen after he made remarks in Hargeisa that undermine the unity and sovereignty of Somalia.
22-The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Mr. Hassan Macalin said that if the constitution is completed, the Somali people will have the right to exercise the universal suffrage election (one person one vote).
23-The Commander of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, met with the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Alper Aktaş.
24-The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has arrested a Kharijite conspirator who was in charge of ensuring the safety of the vehicles used by the Khawarij for the bombings.
25-Somalia’s new ambassador to China, Ambassador Hodan Osman Abdi, presented the copy of the credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
