Mogadishu(SONNA)-Electoral Commissions of the Somali Federal Government and Federal Member States were yesterday and today on Monday elected in Mogadishu, Dhusamareb and Baidoa cities, as part of efforts to hold election on time as scheduled, SONNA reported.
Mohamed Hassan Irro was chosen to lead Somalia’s Indirect electoral commission in an election held yesterday on Monday.
Mohamed Dahir Gulled was elected to be chairperson who lead electoral issues in Galmudug State while Yusuf Abdukadir Mohamed was elected to be chairperson of Southwest State for electoral issues.
Jubaland, Hirshabelle and Puntland States are also on the course to choose leaderships of the electoral commissions.
Country’s election process is due to start on 25th July, this morning
