Mogadishu(SONNA)-Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Hussein Roble on Tuesday launched the event in which candidates of the seats of the Upper House Election of Somalia here in Mogadishu, SONNA reported.
” It great honor for me to attend such key event on the election of the seats Upper House election of Somaliland today, I urge electoral teams to hold free and fair elections and after this ends, we will automatically move to holding election of the lower House soon”, Prime Minister Roble said.
The Prime Minister called for regional leaders to complete the election of the 8 seats of the Upper House, mainly Jubaland, Hirshabelle and Galmudug States this week.
11 Candidates of Upper House seats from Somaliland are currently delivering speeches and making promises on what whey would do if they’re elected to the seats of one of Somalia’s two houses of Parliament.
