Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Mustafa Duhulow, along with senior officials, held a meeting at the agency’s headquarters with a visiting delegation from the Government of Azerbaijan, hosted by the Federal Government of Somalia.
The Azerbaijani delegation presented their country’s experience in advancing public services, technological reforms, and efficient service delivery. They also shared plans to support Somalia’s Immigration and Citizenship Agency in areas such as service improvement, staff training, and the adoption of modern technology.
In turn, the Somali agency outlined its current service delivery systems and ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and improve the quality of public services.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Document Verification Unit (FDU) and the Passport Printing Office, where the delegation observed procedures and modern systems used in processing essential travel documents.
