Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Authority (ICA), Mr. Mustafa Duhulow, has officially closed the second phase of the PISCES (Personal Identification Secure Comparison and Evaluation System) training held in Mogadishu.
The multi-day training aimed to enhance the knowledge and technical skills of ICA officers in operating the advanced PISCES system, which plays a vital role in strengthening border security and improving immigration services.
During the closing ceremony, participants received certificates of completion. Director General Duhulow commended the officers for their dedication to improving their professional capacity and their commitment to safeguarding Somalia’s borders.
He further noted that the training is part of the government’s broader plan to modernize the national immigration system and interconnect key border points across the country, emphasizing the importance of continuous capacity-building programs for staff development and national security.
