Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, speaking at the commemoration of International Youth Day, stressed that Somali youth are at the forefront of the fight to eliminate the country’s enemies.
In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the vital role of young people in state-building, commending their sacrifices in safeguarding national unity. He reiterated that the “DanQaran” Government has plans to advance the development of Somali youth, including empowering them to shape their own political future — a key reason behind the acceleration of nationwide direct elections.
The event was attended by Cabinet Ministers, the Deputy Governor of Banadir Region for Social Affairs, youth organisations, and other dignitaries.
