Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, today presided over the official handover ceremony between the outgoing Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport, Hon. Mahamud Ahmed Aden (Geesood), and the newly appointed Minister, Hon. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur (Jamac).
During the event, Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama commended the outgoing minister for his service and dedication, and offered his best wishes to the new minister, praying for his success in the critical role entrusted to him.
In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the strategic importance of the Ministry of Ports and Maritime Transport, describing it as one of the country’s most vital institutions. He called for continued development and reform within the ministry to support national growth and economic progress.
