Beijing, (SONNA) – The Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamud Abdullahi Ahmed (Abukaate), today held an official bilateral meeting with the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Mauritania, H.E. Zeinebou Mint Ahmednah.
The meeting, held in Haikou, Hainan Province, China, took place on the sidelines of the 11th China-Arab States Business Cooperation Conference.
Discussions focused on enhancing trade and cooperation between Somalia and Mauritania, particularly in the areas of investment, tourism, and infrastructure development. The meeting was hailed as an important step toward establishing stronger, more visible ties between the two nations in the near future.
