President Hassan Sheikh attends graduation ceremony of over 500 students in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the graduation ceremony of more than 500 students from three different cohorts of the Higher Institute for Security and Strategic Studies (HISS) under the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) in Mogadishu.
The President sent his congratulations to all of the students and commended the efforts they have put in the education and the improvements they made along the way. He encouraged the students to use the knowledge gained to improve the security, stability and governance of Somalia.
President Hassan Sheikh pointed out the importance of the National Security and Intelligence Agency (NISA) to have people with knowledge, skills and ability to strengthen the agency’s capabilities, as he also applauded the efforts made to improve the institute and the re-arrangement in the curriculum, the quality of education and the trainings.
The convocation event was also attended by senior officials including the Director of NISA, Ministers, MPs, teachers, students and guests of honour.
