Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Deputy Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Idiris Osman Haji, chaired a consultative meeting at the Ministry’s headquarters on the coordination of projects under the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), with a focus on effective implementation in 2026.
The discussions centered on developing an integrated plan, strengthening cooperation among ministries and agencies, and identifying the technical, financial, and security support required.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from security institutions and other government agencies, who pledged to work closely to ensure the successful implementation of agreed priorities.
The outcome reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to unified action in advancing Somalia’s security and counter-terrorism objectives.
