Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mohamud Moallim Abdulle met with officials from the United Nations led by the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (DSRSG), George Conway, to discuss collaborative efforts and important initiatives.
The meeting focused on addressing the drought, outlining a proactive plan to meet the 2025 humanitarian needs, and enhancing collaboration among agencies to ensure a coordinated response.
Both sides have committed to organizing a meeting to generate funds to assist vulnerable individuals in need.
Commissioner Mahamud encouraged the participants to enhance collaboration and provide robust support for relief efforts.
