Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Cabinet of the Federal Government of Somalia, in its weekly meeting today, approved three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) focused on education and research cooperation.
The agreements, presented by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education, include:
- An MoU between Somalia and Uganda on education cooperation.
- An MoU between Somalia and Qatar on higher education.
- An MoU between Somalia and Algeria on higher education and research collaboration.
The meeting, chaired by the Second Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Jibril Abdirashid Haji Abdi, also heard security briefings from the Ministries of Internal Security and Defense concerning the general security situation and ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab terrorists.
