Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Cabinet today commended the SNA for the responsibility and professionalism demonstrated in preventing potential harm to civilians in the town of Beled-Hawo.
The Cabinet also praised the solidarity shown by the local community in standing with the government and supporting peace-building efforts in the Gedo region, particularly those now actively engaged in restoring the operations of public service institutions.
The Cabinet reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to defeating the Al-Shabaab terrorist group, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that all citizens enjoy lasting peace, stability, and access to essential public services. Any actors contributing to instability are viewed as obstructing the national campaign to eliminate terrorism and restore legitimate governance.
