Bay, (SONNA) — The district of Buur Hakaba today received its first cargo flight following the recent completion of a new airstrip in the area.
The launch of flights meets a long-standing demand from the local community, who have faced limited access to air services. The new facility is expected to ease travel and improve the movement of goods to and from the district.
