Mogadishu, (SONNA) — On 20 September 2025, the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF), in coordination with international partners, conducted a planned operation in Nooleye village of Galguduud region.
The operation targeted positions held by Al-Shabaab militants.
Preliminary assessments indicate that at least four Al-Shabaab fighters were killed during the operation.
This operation forms part of the sustained national and international efforts to eliminate Al-Shabaab and ISIS terrorist groups and to ensure the security and stability of Somalia.
