Performing Arts Groups Hold Rehearsals Ahead of July 1 Independence Celebrations

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Performing arts groups staged public performances across several districts of Mogadishu today as part of preparations for Somalia’s upcoming July 1 Independence Day celebrations.

The National Independence Week Committee inspected the performances, which were organized to engage residents of the capital and build momentum ahead of the national celebrations.

The rehearsals form part of the government’s broader preparations to commemorate Somalia’s Independence and Unity Day, marked annually on July 1.
