New York, (SONNA) – Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Ambassador Abukar Osman (Baale) told the UNSC that the Somali government is working towards inclusive dialogue, broad-based consensus in building national priority issues, including the preparation of one-person-one-vote elections and consultation review processes.
Mr. Osman told the UNSC meeting that a joint technical team from the Somali government and the UN has commenced its engagement in planning the modalities and timeline for the transition of UNSOM to the Country Team.
