Abidjan (SONNA) — A high-level delegation from the Federal Government of Somalia, led by the Director General of the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA), Abdiweli Ali Abdulle “Timacadde,” participated in the ID4Africa 2026 Conference held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The delegation included officials from NIRA, SPS, SBA and other government institutions.
The conference focuses on the implementation of digital systems, with Somalia’s participation seen as important for advancing the National Identification program, expanding digital services and strengthening international cooperation.
