Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Director of Investment Department of the Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Dubo, and his team engaged with the Somali Civil Aviation Authority to advance cooperation and investment in Somalia’s aviation sector.
The discussion focused on boosting investment through targeted FDI promotion, reviewing bankable projects, and improving the investor ecosystem. Key topics included regulatory facilitation, PPPs, and infrastructure financing for airport, air transport, and ancillary services.
The meeting also emphasized improving service delivery and investor aftercare to boost efficiency and competitiveness. This effort aims to position Somalia as an emerging aviation hub, driven by reform, investor confidence, and sustainable growth.
