Baidoa, (SONNA) — The Interim Leader of South West State, H.E. Jibriil Abdirashid Haji, received a delegation led by the Chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Abdikarim Ahmed Hassan, at the Presidential Palace in Baydhabo.
The meeting focused on accelerating electoral processes and strengthening cooperation between the South West State administration and the Independent Commission. Both sides underscored the importance of ensuring a transparent and credible electoral system to advance democracy and state-building efforts.
Jibriil commended the Commission’s ongoing efforts and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to supporting key initiatives aimed at delivering free and fair elections.
The two parties agreed to enhance sustained collaboration to achieve national objectives related to elections and good governance.
