Baidoa, SONNA — A high-level delegation led by the Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madobe), has arrived at Shati Gaduud Airport in Baidoa, the interim capital of South West State.
The delegation includes the Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, cabinet ministers, members of both houses of parliament, as well as senior political leaders.
Upon arrival, the Speaker addressed the media at the airport, emphasizing the importance of unity among the people of South West and urging them to support the government in its efforts to strengthen stability and governance.
He highlighted that collective cooperation between citizens and leadership is essential to advancing peace, development, and effective administration in the region.
The visit comes amid ongoing efforts by federal leaders to engage regional stakeholders and reinforce national unity.
