Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has sent a message of condolence to the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, following the passing of former Algerian President Liamine Zeroual.
In his message, President Hassan Sheikh expressed “deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences” upon receiving news of Zeroual’s death, praying that he be granted mercy and eternal peace.
The Somali leader extended his sincere sympathies to President Tebboune, the family of the late former president, and the brotherly Algerian people, noting that Algeria has lost “one of its loyal sons” who dedicated his wisdom and tireless efforts to serving his country and advancing its progress and prosperity.
