Djibouti(SONNA)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, arrived in Djibouti on Wednesday for a working visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
During the visit, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterpart, Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of Djibouti. The discussions will focus on key issues including regional political developments, security cooperation, and economic collaboration.
The visit is also intended to promote consultation and shared perspectives on the situation in the region, while reinforcing the longstanding and brotherly relations between the peoples of Somalia and Djibouti.
Officials say the meeting between the two leaders will further strengthen partnership, unity, and mutual interests between the two republics, particularly in addressing common challenges and advancing regional stability and development.
