Arusha, SONNA — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, took part in the 25th Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State of the East African Community (EAC) held in Arusha, Tanzania.
In his keynote address, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud emphasized Somalia’s significant achievements in economic reforms, security enhancement, democratic governance, and the completion of the national Constitution.
He also reaffirmed Somalia’s dedication to fostering stronger regional integration and partnerships within the EAC, underlining the country’s commitment to collective growth, stability, and cooperation across the East African region.
The summit brought together EAC leaders to discuss shared economic, political, and security priorities, reinforcing Somalia’s role in advancing regional collaboration.
