Oslo, (SONNA) — His Excellency Ambassador Abdikarim Ahmed Mohamed, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Kingdom of Sweden and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Harald V at the Royal Palace in Oslo, formally commencing his diplomatic mandate in Norway.
During the audience, His Excellency Ambassador Abdikarim conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of H.E. Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to strengthening the longstanding and cordial relations between Somalia and Norway.
The presentation reflects the shared determination of both countries to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including development partnership, peacebuilding, and people-to-people engagement.
The Somali Mission looks forward to working closely with the Government of Norway to advance practical cooperation and further consolidate the strong and historic friendship between the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Kingdom of Norway.
