Addis Ababa – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, held separate meetings with President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti, President William Ruto of Kenya, and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia on the sidelines of the 39th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly of Heads of State and Government.
The meetings took place in Addis Ababa, where the leaders discussed issues of mutual interest, including regional cooperation, peace and security, and strengthening bilateral relations among countries in the Horn of Africa and East Africa.
The engagements reflect Somalia’s continued diplomatic outreach and active participation in regional and continental affairs aimed at promoting stability, cooperation, and shared development priorities across Africa.
