Addis Ababa(SONNA)-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Ali, participated in the opening of the 48th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Executive Council at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa.
The session brings together Foreign Ministers of AU Member States ahead of the 39th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly of Heads of State and Government, scheduled for 14-15 February 2026.
Ministers are reviewing, among other agenda items, the report of the 51st meeting of~ the Committee~ Permanent Representatives (PRC ), preparations for elections and appointments within AU organs, the AU’s engagement with the G20, and progress under the SACA process.
