Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Somali National Army, specifically the 9th Battalion of the 60th Division in Bakool region, conducted a planned operation in areas under Moorigaabey, located near Hudur town, the regional capital of Bakool.
According to officials, the operation targeted a leader of militant extremists who have been terrorizing local communities in the area. During the operation, the forces also seized three-wheeled motorcycles used by the militants.
