Mogadishu, SONNA — Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Ali, oversaw the departure of justice sector officials traveling to Egypt to participate in a specialized Capacity-Building Program focused on Emerging Crimes and Digital Transformation.
The program is designed to strengthen the institutional capacity of Somalia’s justice sector in tackling emerging and cyber-related crimes. It aims to enhance legal and judicial responses to technology-driven offenses and support the digital transformation of justice institutions, aligning them with international best practices.
Minister Hassan Sheikh Ali highlighted the strategic importance of the program for ongoing justice sector reforms, emphasizing that the knowledge and skills gained should be applied directly to improve institutional efficiency and effectiveness. He stressed that such initiatives are crucial for developing a modern, technology-enabled justice system capable of addressing contemporary challenges while upholding the rule of law.
