PRETORIA (SONNA) — The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to South Africa, H.E. Mohamed Sheikh Isaac, attended a high-level reception in Pretoria to mark the 65th anniversary of the National Day of the State of Kuwait.
The ceremony was attended by a broad spectrum of the diplomatic corps based in South Africa, alongside government ministers and senior South African officials. The event served as a gathering for the international community to share in the celebrations of the Kuwaiti people and their government.
Ambassador Mohamed Sheikh Isaac, attending as an officially invited guest, extended formal congratulations to the State of Kuwait. during the proceedings, he expressed the Federal Government of Somalia’s solidarity and enduring friendship with Kuwait. The Ambassador specifically acknowledged the role Kuwait has played in supporting Somalia’s trajectory, particularly in the areas of development and state-building.
concluding his engagement, the Ambassador reaffirmed Somalia’s readiness to further strengthen and expand the fraternal relations and cooperative frameworks that exist between the two nations.
