Mogadishu (SONNA) – Former Minister of State for the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Farxaan Cali Axmed, speaking to national media, commended the noticeable improvement in security across the capital. He stated that the current level of security now enables citizens to carry out their daily lives peacefully and without fear, both day and night.
“Three years ago, a person couldn’t go out alone at night, whereas today the security situation in the capital allows for movement around the clock,” the former minister said. He added that this progress in security has resulted from the dedication and efforts invested by the government in safeguarding the capital. He specifically praised the security forces for the significant role they have played in achieving stability.
“I commend the government for seriously fulfilling its commitment to ensuring security,” he further stated. In recent months, a substantial improvement in security has been observed in the capital compared to previous periods. This has led politicians and the Somali public to praise the government’s efforts in maintaining security in Mogadishu and throughout the country.
