Mogadishu(SONNA)-The Banadir Regional Administration has announced that its Emergency Response and Health departments are fully prepared to handle any potential emergencies, as the city of Mogadishu prepares to enter an election period scheduled for tomorrow.

The Governor of Benadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Mungab), stated that the Mogadishu Municipal Government has mobilized sufficient firefighting vehicles, ambulances, and trained personnel who will operate around the clock to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents in the capital during the election.

He emphasized that all relevant departments are on full alert and ready to respond swiftly to any emergency situations that may arise.

The Benadir Regional Administration also reminded citizens to use the emergency short code 991, which is available for immediate assistance whenever urgent help is needed.

Mayor Mungab reaffirmed that the local government remains committed to serving and protecting the public at all times, calling on the people of Mogadishu to participate in the election peacefully and responsibly.

The meeting on election preparedness was attended by Deputy Governors responsible for Security and Politics, Public Works, directors, and other senior officials from the Benadir Regional Administration and the Mogadishu Municipal Government.
