Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA), Mustafa Dhuhulow, today held a meeting in his office with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, H.E. Wang Yu. The discussion focused on strengthening the longstanding friendship between the two countries and enhancing cooperation in the areas of immigration, entry facilitation, and the development of ICA service infrastructure.
Both sides also discussed easing travel procedures for Somali citizens entering China and China’s ongoing support for developing the agency’s infrastructure. Ambassador Wang Yu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the two nations, reaffirming China’s commitment to supporting Somalia through knowledge exchange, technical expertise, capacity building, and improved service delivery.
