Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Gen. Bashir Mohamed Jama stressed the need for a strong environmental consideration across all sectors, noting that climate action must be integrated nationwide at the Mogadishu Environmental Summit.
He highlighted Somalia’s key milestones, first to submit its NDCs (June 2025) and earlier its NAP and announced plans to present the establishment of a National Environmental Management Authority to Parliament.
